Description: The Action Researcher/Performer sat anonymously in a public mall environment and recorded in a notebook all of the conversations overheard. She then transcribed these notes (minus any potentially identifying elements) onto small pieces of paper and placed these into individual bottles filled with water that were then corked and labelled. The Action Researcher/Performer then positioned herself on a footpath thoroughfare in King Cross with the bottles displayed on a small table. Around her neck was strung a sign reading: 'CROSS (conversation) HERE NOW'. The sealed bottles containing the pre-recorded conversations were progressively offered to passing pedestrians.
