Description: The outline of people residing in New York were traced onto large pieces of cardboard (found on the street) and then cut out and carried around the city.  The figures were temporarily placed in locations where homeless people often spent extended durations of time, such as inside doorway alcoves or on top of subway vents.  Walking into local shops and restaurants downtown, the Action Researcher/Performer carried different cardboard characters each day, sitting them on chairs next to her while eating or letting them stand side by side with her whilst browsing the supermarket aisles.
