Description: The proliferation of dog excrement on the footpaths across Paris in 2002 seemed in contrast to the glamorous image of the city that locals and tourists held. As a response, the Action Researcher/Performer hand painted a series of small French flags that were attached to toothpicks. She then walked around the streets of Paris placing these flags on top of the piles of excrement garnished with a sprinkling of 'hundreds and thousands' lollies.
