Description: A large wooden white box was constructed as a replica 1:100 scaled down version of the world. Inside this box, a series of shelving devices were used to divide the space into a range of different formations. Within these constructed spaces the Action Researcher/Performer positioned herself and other objects, creating scenes previously encountered in public space sites around the world. Of particular note was the intimate scenes witnessed in contained box-like spaces in India, where people undertook often very private tasks (e.g. cleaning, cooking, washing and grooming) while positioned on busy footpath thoroughfares.
