Description: The Action Researcher/Performer documented everyday happenings at intersections in New York, noting the time and the intersecting street location (e.g. 12.55pm, 28th Street and 8th Avenue).  These recordings were then transferred onto large strips of white paper that were adhered to one another and suspended vertically with a wire spine.  In Sydney, the strips of paper were attached to a storm water grate (closely resembling the subway vents on the streets of New York), so that the narratives could stand vertically as if being blown by the rising air from below.
