Description: Stories told by local homeless people about life on the streets of Kings Cross were read through an amplifier by the Action Researcher/Performer who was located anonymously inside a custom built portable theatre.  A range of soft toys uniformly spray-painted grey were assigned to the individual stories, each ‘character’ being manipulated by the Action Researcher/Performers hands so that they embodied the idiosyncrasies of the narrative.  The vehicle was positioned in the locations where the original experiences that had inspired the stories had occurred, giving gravitas to their re-telling.
