Description: A significant feature across the streetscapes of Paris were the proliferation of broken bikes, their dismembered and progressively ageing parts securely chained to urban infrastructure. In an attempt to question and highlight this urban phenomenon, the Action Researcher/Performer made fifty bright yellow labels with the words stencilled: ‘Mort du Velo’ (Death of the Bike) and attached these to the strewn bike parts left all over the city.
