Description: Twenty-one self-portraits were painted and then reproduced at a smaller scale onto cards, which were then left in public phone booths across the city. Passers-by were invited to take the card with them, the text inside reading: 'Bonjour, si vous me reconnaissez dans les rues de Paris, dites-moi bonjour! Merci, Aurevoir' (Hello, if you recognise me in the streets of Paris, say hello! Thankyou, Goodbye). The cards sought to encourage pedestrians to become more aware of each other and to consider interacting with a stranger in the city.
