Description: Extracts from current newspaper articles addressing the plight of the local Parisian ‘Sans-papiers’ (people without formal residency papers) were identified, enlarged and then stencilled onto two travel suit bags. These bags were then stuffed with cushions and bedding material to give the impression of a body form inside and then placed in various arrangements in public city sites. Many 'Sans-papiers' could be seen camping in groups on the streets of Paris, existing in limbo between countries, cultures and 'foreign' policies.
