Description: Excerpts from a poem entitled: 'Kings Cross' (written by Peter Sokolowskyj on 31 March 2001) describing life on the streets of this notorious inner city Sydney suburb, were stencilled with black paint onto a series of sixteen white canvases.  These canvases were then temporarily attached to a suspended footway in King Cross, the walkway itself the infamous setting of a murder perpetrated by a patient of the nearby hospital.  Passers-by progressively read the poem, one canvas after another as they walked along this narrow footway venturing in or out of Kings Cross.
