I’ve been a Surry Hills local for the last 10 years on and off, with my partner Andy. I moved into a flat on Cleveland St soon after falling in love and haven’t looked back (though it did take about a year to convince him to move in with me). I’ve tried my hand at many things over the years, but have always bounced around the disciplines of design and strategy, though at heart I’d say I’m still an industrial designer. I jotted down this little poem after a night out with friends ended nearby. It seemed like an appropriate reflection on many a late night jaunt through Surry Hills.
