Description: Members of the public were encouraged to enter into the ‘Time Out Vehicle’ in order to escape the physical and sensorial pressures of the city. A stop watch viewable from the outside counted the time each individual spent within the confines of this space, indicating the degree of relief from the surroundings personally required. A larger LCD clock positioned at the top of the Vehicle, revealed the current circumstances of this individual within the broader world environment, identifying the exact time, date, temperature and humidity.
